The man who is credited with creating The Odyssey and its prequel The Iliad the ancient blind Greek poet and prophet, Homer. Although historians are unsure Homer actually existed, he is still credited with the creation of the two masterpiece epics. Some believe that he is not one person, but many people that all wrote stories under the name Homer. His writing style is very recognizable. He writes his epics all in the form of a long poem. He fills the poem with hundreds of similes and metaphors, and excellent descriptive words, making the story flow very smoothly.
